Immediatly discount when placed in cart

Hi guys,

I searched the forum but could not find an answer for my question. So I hope someone can help me out.

In the frontoffice my products show the official list prices of the vendor. When a customer places a product in his/her cart, I want another (lower) price immediatly. So for example: I order a product for € 100 and in the cart it shows € 80.

Anyone a suggestion how to realize this?

Why would you want to do this? People will see a higher price before they purchase and will refrain from buying. Why not just set a reduction amount, then customers will see the list price and your price.

Because the vendor does not allow communication of lower prices. So all the webshops selling this brand communicate the same prices. I would like to give my customers a lower price, but as mentioned, I'm not allowed to communicate discounts on my webshop. A headline will trigger the customer to place products in the basket so they can see the lowered price.

You can still use reductions, but you need to modify the tpl files to use the full price. I think you need to modify product.tpl and product-list.tpl, and modules that display prices.

I tried these modules and they show the automatic discount at the payout, but not in the cart.
It's a start and I'll try to edit the modules.
