Star
Rocky, You site looks very good, clean and simple. However, there is one thing I would like to show you is the background color does not look smooth.
rocky
Yes, I noticed that too. It is a problem with using a JPEG for the background. I can improve the quality of the image, but it would mean a bigger image size. The background is currently 36.4KiB. Do you think it is worth increasing the size of the image to improve the quality? Star
Well, your site is to show people how you can make their sites look good. They don't know the reason behinds it, they only see the end product of your site..... the background doesn't look smooth.....
rocky
I'll try to improve the quality of the image.
Star
A suggestion for the background. Make the background fixed top right.
bobbob
Re - the background imageHave you tried saving the image as an 8-bit or 24-bit PNG (without alpha-transparency) ?
rocky
The problem is that I got that image from PrestaShopic's free RGB theme. I just desaturated it using Photoshop. It is a JPG file and I don't have access to the original PSD file. I'm not sure whether PrestaShopic still has the PSD file or whether they would send it to me if I asked them. Otherwise, I'll have to recreate the background image from scratch, which would be very difficult for me, since I can't create anything that complicated in Photoshop. ricky.martin4545
Its looking great. Its easy to navigate, and I´am not at anytime "lost" at your site, so thumbs up from here The database hooks up just fine and the tables are filled with all the demo data. I've tried leaving the email checkbox blank.
rocky
I've now upgraded my website to PrestaShop v1.4 with a more professional-looking design. Any feedback or bug reports are appreciated.
curtdonohue
Rocky,It looks great. It's nice and clean, which I really like. The sliding bar under the nav bar is really cool. It's hard to tell that this website is built on a PrestaShop core, which is the sign of a really good template. Excellent work as always.
