massimopasquali
Hello, I have to use the webservice to exchange data from a C# DLL, I have installed prestashop 1.6.1.6 on my windows workstation 10Pro, for developing. reading the manual of prestashop's webservice I realized that there is a way for testing the connection : http:\\servername\api\ It doesn't works, my browser displayed "404 file not found" I want to specify that I accessed to admin pannel for activing the webservice flag and the CGI flag, also I specified which table to expose (Customers). Have you never installed prestashop on windows IIS8.5? Have you never actived the prestashop of webservice on IIS8.5? THe file .htaccess on my installation root there wasn't, but the prestashop doen't have problem about functionaly, excepted the webservice. can you help me, also told me a link for specific example? selectshop.at
Prestashopo does not work 100% on IIS, I suggest you to use Linux. After one year on IIS 7 and struggling constantly with several problems on rights I moved back to Linux. I suggest you to do the same, or look for a 100% compatible Microsoft solution. Mocrosoft is only 100% compatible with Microsoft products ! Although Microsoft denies this fact.

massimopasquali
It's a stressfull, I have also activated the rewrite module, but doesn't works. I don't undestand which type of configuration I have to do in apache2.con and php.ini. I'm following the manual, and reading that the configuration it did show very esasy. have you any suggests for me?
selectshop.at
Don't think you can use webservice on VM. Webservice should have a SSL certificate (not requested for Prestashop, but the most third party services make this indispensable).
