After migration to new server and Prestashop 1.6 some thumbnails do not shows

Hi experts!

 

I just have migrated my database to new server and from Prestashop 1.5 to Prestashop 1.6. I also moved all products images and then regenerate thumbnails. At first glance, everything looks pretty nice

however when I clicked to any category

turned out that thumbnails do not work.

 

Any idea why? How to fix it?

It seems your thumbnails didn't finish regenerating, since the full-size images work, but the thumbnails do not. Perhaps the thumbnail regeneration timed out? If it did, you'll need to keep clicking the "Regenerate thumbnails" button with "Erase previous images" set to "No" until you get a "Thumbnail regeneration successful" message.

Every time I click "Regenerate thumbnails" prestahop loadings page till I am kick out from admin panel to "there is no such page" page. Maybe it happens because I have too many products (I have literally hundreds of thousands of them). Is there any way to automated regenerated thumbnails? Maybe some cheap module?

You can try to regenerate by type and size and not all at once, so for example just Product and home_default first.

 

For modules just googled this but not sure how and if it works https://github.com/meetjey/imageRegeneratorPrestashop/tree/master/imageregenerator.

 

Also paid http://addons.prestashop.com/en/676-regenerate-thumbnails.html but could be others.

I have regenerated thumbnails but some kind of miniatures stubbornly do not want to show This stubborn kind of miniatures are:
 

1. In page od specific product  big images shows correctly but their miniatures below main image are just question mark

2. miniatures which show in "category" page are still question marks

For thumbnails on product page you would need  type "cart_default" , not sure from your screenshot, maybe scrolled. But should look like 

 

But you can also try to edit your theme product.tpl file and replace cart_default with 

 

For other issue I do not know maybe some did not regenerated home_default type, because some 

categories http://konsoleigry.pl/testowastrona/16-gry-na-pc-w-pudelkach have images.
