Last week I posted a request about PayPal - it seems to appear nowhere now ???

My question was

 

I am in Australia - I have an Australian website that only sells in Australia

I have registered my deatils with Paypal in Australia

I now want to add the PayPal payment at the end of a transaction on my website

 

Do I need to buy an add-on to allow PayPal to work on my website ?

 

OR

Does the Prestashop system provide basic PayPal functionality automatically

You need to install a payment module.  There are a few Paypal payment modules, official free ones from Prestashop, and then third party created ones that you likely need to purchase.

 

You can search the PS Addons store or you can google search

I have some Aus sites and I use the europe version: http://addons.prestashop.com/en/1748-paypal.html Just note that there were a couple of bugs (may have been fixed), so test it but it's free and works well. Only thing you will probably want to change the default payment img which is based on europe, so just rename the one you want to use.
