xu1984huang
with PrestaShop, the shipping cost = shipping fee +tax??is that right??
rocky
It depends on your settings. When you edit a carrier on the Shipping > Carriers tab, there is a tax option that lets you choose a tax or have no tax at all.
xu1984huang
if one Customer does not log in(it means that i don't konw where he/she lives in), the shipping is Calculated based on what
rocky
The default carrier and default country are used to calculate the shipping when not logged in.
zhizunbao84
in my case, the shipping fee is $10, it means the customer comes from Europe(why not us).how can i konw what is the customer's default country??where to set up??
rocky
It is not the customer's default country, but the shop's default country that is used. If your default country is France, then PrestaShop assumes that all customers who aren't logged in are from France and that they would choose the default carrier. zhizunbao84
thank you for your post, but why the shipping fee is not $5(us), but $10(Europe)??
rocky
Because France is in the Europe zone, so $10 is charged. If you want the default to be $5, then you need to change the default country to "United States". Of course, that means the default country on the registration form will also change to "United States".
