luishp
Hi everyone, I have just installed PrestaShop in a new hosting.Everything seems to work perfectly, but I can not update modules.Whenever I try to update a module I get this message: "All modules updated successfully." But the modules are still showing that they must be updated. Any clue would be really appreciated. Thank you very much in advance.
Krystian Podemski
It can be related to hosting and server configuration, permissions, did you try to upload some new module and check if this feature is working or is it broken too?

musicmaster
If it happened to me I would look in Firefox with Firebug installed. Another option is to temporarily switch on develop mode. One possibility is that you don't have enough rights to write on the server.
ICT-LabS
Hello, same problem for me. I am in cpanel and cannot update modules. I can install new modules, themes, etc... Before write here i already test with firebug or develop mode but nothing appear. My other server with plesk instead works. I though somethingh related to php.ini file, but is just ordinary one... i read someone resolve this problem setting in their hosting the php.ini for joomla. This my php.ini allow_url_fopen = Onallow_url_include = Offasp_tags = Offdisplay_errors = Offenable_dl = Offfile_uploads = Onmax_execution_time = 300max_input_time = -1max_input_vars = 10000memory_limit = 256Msession.save_path = ""upload_max_filesize = 25M Any idea on how to solve this issue? Anderson C.
I have the same problem. Prestashop 1.6.1.
GustavoIglesias
To update modules correctly you must login in AdminModules for prestashop in your backoffice: to do that the server must be configured: "allow_url_fopen On" in PHP (not only in your cPanel with phpi.ini, it must be in WHM as well). If you are login in AdminModules (Prestashop addon) in your backoffice, and you can't update the modules: check the files and folders permissions and owner. ICT-LabS
Nothing, i check more then one time if allow_url_fopen was set On and my access to Prestashop Addons. The only thingh... if i update the version of prestashop then the modules are correctly update but on next modules updates still the same also if the green alert say the modules are up to date

kelvin
I added upgrade file in a prestashop module, and I change the version of the module like stated in the documentation but I can't get to update the module. If I upload the module to module section, I don't see anything like upgrade module. Is there any steps that need to follow when uploading the upgraded module to prestashop
