Catalog price rules for new products (PS 1.6)

I wonder it's possible to disable Catalog price rules for new products? Can anyone have done this? It's really important, because new products i think doesn't always have to be on sale. What i want to say, i apply Catalog price rule for whole shop products, but i want to add exception for new products. Thank you.

You need to make false Condition Groups of  Catalog Rule for the new product, by using these following way:

1. Add new product to the category that category  not belong condition group or

2. Add attribute to new product that does not belong to Condition groups of Catalog Rule.
