Combination out of stock does not display

Hello Everyone,

 

I have been looking for a solution for this for some time but either is not possible or I am missing something really obvious.

 

When in my site I have a product combination quantity to 0 instead of displaying greyed out or with a Out of Stock sign it just disappears and new clients obviously have no clue there is an option to the product they cannot see.

 

Is there something I am missing or there is a module around to fix this problem or anybody can tell me what hack may I apply?
