ledlightsofatlanta
Hello all, Today I ran into a strange change. I had all page titles set and suddenly all my titles changed to "Your SEO optimized title" It doesn't matter that page I go to, it still says Your SEO optimized title in the tab. The URLs change and are correct its just in the tab that does not change. I'm not sure how this happened and where to look to get my titles back. My url is ledlightsofatlanta.com Please have a look and if anyone can please help, I would deeply appreciate it. Thanks Chris

ledlightsofatlanta
Anyone have any ideas as to where to look to fix this? Under Preferences / SEO & URLs The page titles show accurate but not when you go to the site!
rocky
Try disabling the "Advanced URL" module. If that doesn't work, check whether you have any overrides in the override/classes and override/controllers/front directories. Perhaps there is something there overriding the meta information. ledlightsofatlanta
Rocky, I disabled the Advanced URL module, that did not solve the problem. As far as the other suggestion, I am not sure where to look on that. Can you guide me? Thanks, Chris
rocky
Try going to Advanced Parameters > Performance and changing "Disable all overrides" to "Yes", then click the "Save" button. If that fixes your problem, then there's an override that's causing the problem.
ledlightsofatlanta
Rocky, I tried that and it did not correct the problem. My meta title still says Your SEO optimized title on live site. I left Disable all overrides set to yes so if you would like to take a look. Chris
rocky
The same when you change "Disable non PrestaShop modules" to "Yes"? I was expecting it to be a third-party module or override that would cause it. I can't think of anything else that would cause it.
ledlightsofatlanta
I disabled all three, Advanced URL Module under Modules, non PrestaShop modules and All Overrides under Advanced Parameters > Performance at the same time as well and my meta title still says the same. "Your SEO optimized title" Is there a solution? Chris
ledlightsofatlanta
I found the problem, it has to do with the Bing validating code that Bing requires to be placed in the header.tpl file. Placing this code in the file disrupts the file and causes the issue. After removing the code, everything went back to normal. Chris
rocky
I'm happy you found the problem. I would never have guessed it. Thanks for posting the solution.
