iboMonkey
Hello,For some reason when in the front-office I try to use 'log in', 'contact' or 'order-list', etc. I get this message: Safari can not open the page "https: / / www.tumbleweedbros.nl / ecommerce / my-account.php" because no connection to the server 'www.tumbleweedbros.nl' can be achieved. What could be the cause of this? Might I have changed something in some file that causes this?Kind regards, iboPs. The back-office isusable, there's no problem logging into that. iboMonkey
I've checked all sorts of things. It seemed there wasn't a map 'admin' (I used to reach the back-office through ecommerce/backoffice), so I placed the original admin map in root, it's reachaable and works fine. I've checked all files including those of my own theme and checked if the appropriate values had been assigned (755 for maps and 644 for files) this is correct too.I simply don't have a clue what's the problem... Suppose that the appropriate name of the MySQL database hasn't been assigned? Could that be fixed? Where should I do that? (Initially the installation was done by someone else, therefor I can't say with certainty that everywhere the appropriate has been filled in).Kind regards, ibo
iboMonkey
I noticed that when i click the links like 'log in' the browsers say they can't connect to the server on 'https://...', however when I type that url in the browser without the 's', in other words: 'http://www.tumbleweedbros.nl/ecommerce/my-account.php' (for example) it works fine.... Is that normal? And how and where could I change this grom redirecting to https to http?Kind regards, ibo
rocky
Perhaps you have SSL turned on without having a valid SSL certificate. You can turn off SSL until you get one by going to the Preferences tab and changing "Enable SSL" to "No".
iboMonkey
Thanks a lot Rocky! That was it, maybe I've set ssl to 'yes' a while back before working on the design, so I haven't realized it could be that. Again thanks!Kind regards, ibo
