[SOLVED] How to remove manufactures and suppliers in sitemap

I am running Prestashop version 1.6.1.6

 

How can I remove Manufacture and Supplier in the sitemap view ?

Go to  \controllers\front\SitemapController.php and make the necessary changes.

 

Or - if you want to do it nice - create an adapted copy of this file in the override directory.

On the top of the SitemapController.php there is a warning not to modify the file.

Should I not care about this ?

 

Could you please help me with what modifications to do to prevent Manufacture and Suppliers not to be shown ?

To remove the manufacturers and suppliers, you can go to the "Modules & Services" tab, search for the "Manufacturers block" and "Suppliers block" and click the "Disable" option on each of them. You can also go the Preferences > General tab and change "Display suppliers and manufacturers" to "No" and then click the "Save" button. That should remove them from the sitemap. If not, you've probably got a custom theme and will need to manually edit sitemap.tpl in your theme's directory.

Hi.
For information, on v1.7.x there is not suppliers and brands modules anymore.
There is an option to enable/disable suppliers and brands on sitemap under Preferences > General.

Maybe it will help.
