Extra order reference in BO

I would like to add an additional reference to each order which can be searched in the BO.

 

So for example the default Order listings include:

ID - Reference - New client - Delivery - Customer ....etc.

 

What I would need is:

ID - Reference  - MyRef2 - New client - Delivery - Customer.....etc.

 

The MyRef2 field should be available to amend when navigating to each order.

 

Any ideas how I could achieve this?

iDan, thanks for the link. I've also just found this - http://nemops.com/extending-prestashop-objects/#disqus_thread

 

If anyone else has any suggestion or knows of a module that can implement this, then much appreciated.

In the meantime I'll try coding on a test install to see how I get on.
