[SOLVED] Changing shop's url to subdomain

Hi,

so here's my situation:

I have my shop in one of the folders on my server. Let's say: http://mysite.pl/shop

I have launched a redirection from my subdomain http://shop.mysite.pl to http://mysite.pl/shop

But what I want is totally the opposite.

I want the base url of the shop to be http://shop.mysite.pl

What would I need to change in DB etc. to achieve that? Because I really don't want to break something in the shop.

To change the shop to the new URL you simply change the configuration on your back-office on tab: SEO & URL's. Change there the URL and base URI to the new one. (This presumes that on new subdomain Prestashop is installed).

 

If Prestashopis not isntalled there than you need to make redirections through .htaccess on the domain. There are several tutorials for this you can find on the net.

Changing directly will not update prestashop .htaccess

is best to change from backoffice
