Hey everyone i am wanting to totally redesign my website. I am wanting to get rid of the common prestashop boxes and other normal looks that prestashop installs. Now could anyone recommended to me how i should go about doing this. Shall i totally reinstall prestashop with no modules installed, or shall i just customize and clean it from the currently installed prestashop. I currently do not have any products on my site as i haven’t launched it yet so either way i dont mind what i have to do to get it looking nice. I know a bit of css and html, do i need to know anything else if so do you have any sites that can help me.

An example of what i mean
This is a really good looking site as there are no traces of it being a bog standard prestashop look

Well,

I'm doing that already with one of my websites. I suggest that you first create a copy of the prestashop theme folder and rename it for your website.
Next thing is starting to take a deep look at all the code that is used both in the root, theme and modules folders. You'll need to change not only the CSS, but also some markup, specially in the theme and modules (wich use their own markup as well). You also need to have some knowledge of php / mysql / smarty in order to change the behaviour of some modules (you may or may not need it, depends on your needs).

It ain't easy, but it's the only option you have.

If you need any help, PM me :)
