Rizzzle
So, here's my theory: There's a rather vague email going around that there is a vulnerability in the PayPal module and YOU MUST UPGRADE. I call this false. We're being lied to. This has come at a time when Prestashop were negotiating with PayPal how to make more money from them. They even went to the extend of completely cancelling PayPal being allowed on UK stores. There was no vulnerability, this patch is purely a result of the above negotiations. The patch will simply make it easier for Prestashop to monitor how much money goes through PayPal. I imagine they've negotiated a % of all the money that comes through Prestashop/PayPal. Thoughts? shokinro
Not sure if your claim is true or not, but I think Paypal security upgrade should have nothing to do with Prestaashop.
