system works on dev server but get a white screen for production server backoffice

Hi, 

 

I've set up and run a Prestashop installation on a development server.

 

I then transferred the files to a production server.

 

I did a dump of the database and imported it into MySQL on the production server to bring the database across.

 

The issue is that the back-office page comes up blank instead of showing the login form while the front-office redirects to the old server front-office.

 

What could be causing this and what could I try?

Turn on dev mode in defines.inc.php, there might be some error in your live config

The problem was eventually solved by checking and resetting the file permissions to have the Apache user as owner.
