How to edit the product page?

I have tried to edit from themes/default-bootstrap/product.tpl but nothing changes in the store. (I use the default prestashop theme).

 

Even if I delete all the content from product.tpl, everything stays the same on the store.

 

If I delete or rename the product.tpl file, then the store shows a blank page.

 

Any ideas?

it's a matter of cache probably, try to clear it, and enable theme compilation

Yes, that was it. However, it has messed everything, my products from the front page and the product pages are displayed without that left right padding, with no padding at all. I have to delete and restore everything.

Do you want edit product page? You need change file \themes\classic\templates\catalog\product.tpl. In this file, it call other files, you need find and edit it.

After you change file finish, you need clear cache and maybe both browser. When you are developing, CACHE should choose "Recomplie templates if in the files have updated".

Someone there knows how can change the color attributes for  show in list mode and not in combobox. Also that could show the image with each item?
