metta Posted May 7, 2010 Share Posted May 7, 2010 I saw a lot of people asking how to include a flash header. I know very little about programming. Somebody told me if the customers doesn't have Flash installed, they will not be able to see the Flash at all. My question is then why people want to have Flash header? What is the benefit? rocky Posted May 8, 2010 Share Posted May 8, 2010 I personally prefer to use Javascript instead of Flash, since it doesn't require you to have Flash installed. There are some things that you can only do with Flash, but you can do a lot with Javascript too. Also, content that is within a Flash file is not indexed by search engines. The only reasons I can see to using Flash is if you want complicated animation or you are a non-coder who has access to Adobe Flash and don't have time to figure out how to write Javascript.
