giulomas
Hi everyone! I've got a problem, on a my customer's website: in the Google Analytics panel appear too many visitors than usual! (see the attachment) How is it possible? And how to fix it? Is it the site perhaps under attack? Tnx Giuliano Edited July 1, 2016 by giulomas (see edit history)
shokinro
make sure you are not using Demo mode of the dash board - if that is the case, the data is sample/demo data, not your store real data. There is a switch on right upper corner of Dashboard page, beside the Help icon (?), you can switch between Demo mode or real mode.
giulomas
No, the demo mode has been deactived a long time ago... Instead the issue was related to a infected module (sendtoafriend) that was sending a lot of spam e-mails to a specific e-mail address. With a simple htaccess rule, the problem seems now solved (I hope). Thanks for answer! ;-) Does anyone know how to mark as "SOLVED" this topic? Thanks a lot

orotoi
So annoying, to search for a problem, finding a topic with [RESOLVED] tag... but no solution on posts.. [Yea..I know.. Old topic and bumping.. but I see this thing happening in a lot of topics.. People asking for something, but if they find it themselves they dont post solution...]
