KGI
Good Morning fellow PS users A big thank you to Nethercott Constructions - PrestaShop modules and guides - who helped without delay on a previous issue about Conditions in BO and FO Now having been able to change the Condition Wording and its colour we find now a little strange situation. When we put an item for ordering but 0 in stock - we get on the front page an orange box with the wording 'In Stock' we need to change that to our own wording - such as 'Order' Is there any one who know what we need to do. Kind regards Ian Edited June 29, 2016 by KGI (see edit history)
Simonas Invertus
I am not sure if this is what you are looking for, but You can change text in Localization->Translations. You have to choose "Front office translations", your theme, your language, Click Modify. There are several "Out of stock" messages depending on where you want to see them eg. Product list, order page and so on. Of course if you want some complex rules when to show it, just changing translation might not work for you. KGI
Hi again Thank you we managed to change the word (and a few others) from 'In Stock' to 'Buy item' But to be honest - the whole scripting is very poorly designed as it is crazy to have one word which is used in two very different situations ie When an item is in stock - default word says "In Stock" and when an item has 0 stock level but can ordered - default word says "In Stock" When we look at this latest version - it is not so user friendly as the other two 1.2.4 version we are still running. For instance in the early version when entering new product data it is easy to cut and paste via the mouse. Whilst in PS 1616 in the same area of adding body text - the mouse is sitched off (so copy - paste fuctions are not visible) so one is required to use ctrl v in order to paste - long winded on the hands. But back to the point in hand - Thanks you for pointing us in the translation direction which enabled us to completed change the wording all together. thank you Kind regards Ian
