Combinations disapeared in frontoffice (shop)

Hello

I first got a message from a customer that the cart was not working.
So checked and indeed I get the following error message when trying to add something to the cart:

TECHNICAL ERROR: unable to add the product.

Details:
Error thrown: [object XMLHttpRequest]
Text status: parsererror

Now I started looking around here for a solution, but seems as others have different kind of problems with it.

With me I have this error message with every single item I try to add to my cart.

- out of stock items who are allowed to be ordered
- in stock items
- items with combinations (size / color to choose)
- items without combinations
- in the category list as well as in the products page.

Then I noticed that actually all combinations have disapeared in the shop.
In the back office the items have still all the combinations as they were made and worked before.
In the shop front office however, no combination is showing, just the quantity box and add to cart.

But then again, ever items that have no combinations, just quantity, get this error message.

Furthermore, when clicking the ok button on the error message and refresh my page, the cart is not updating, there is still nothing in it. (as it would with other people getting this error message)

Then the cart box shows: 1 product 0,00 €
when clicking on the cart to get the total view of the cart it sais no items in cart.

I'm puzzled!

need to get this fixed asap!!!

Try disabling ajax for the cart. If it starts working, it is a javascript issue, if it still does not work, it is a PHP issue.

Can you give an example of a product that has attributes in the back end (with a screen shot of the combination tab)

Hello only the bags, books and training weapons are without combinations.

the enclosed attachments is of the combinations in the cmbinations tab of the item 'Wear > Kids Gi Special'

I have tried to put off the ajax but that didn't help!

How can this happen without me doing any thing? all these items have been working, the kids Gi special was added over a week ago and worked!

hello, anybody looking into this?
still having trouble!

I'm starting to think I might just instal the new version a fresh and start building my shop again! but I remember I had some things changed t get it to work the way I wanted, so it's gonna take some time!
so anyone that comes up with a solution for this would be better!

by the way does anyone know when the stable version of 1.3 will come out? should I wait for that one?

Yes, it won't be long before v1.3 final is released. If you can wait another week or two, you should wait for v1.3 final to be released.
