PayPal return does not empty cart

Hi,

I am using PayPalUSA 1.3.10 on PrestaShop version 1.6.1.6. I am having a problem on return from PayPal. The cart remains with the order. When the page is refreshed manually, the cart empties, but the order is still not showing up. I cleared the cache in the BO and went back to my account order status and then the order with the download link showed up. 

 

I would appreciate any assistance in getting this corrected, PLEASE!! I'm afraid to go "live" with orders not showing up in customer accounts!

You say 1.3.10 but the last update to PayPal USA is 1.3.9 so where did you get 1.3.10, Do not use the USA module it has many flaws and has not been updated in a long time I use the Euro version 3.10 and have had no issues with orders.

I have had many issues with the USA version no showing orders or registering orders in the BO but orders are shown on PayPal, basically exactly what you desribe.

If you switch to the Euro version and are in USA you will need to change the AuthenticatePaymentMethods.php to work in US I have included the modified file below.

 

After install and before configuration of 3.10.10 Euro version use the file below to replace the AuthenticatePaymentMethods.php found in  modules/paypal/classes.

Thank you for the info on European module. I had read there was the same problem with it too?

 

 

 

 

 

Change the file paypalusa/paypalusa.php as per Bug Tracker:

This will bring up the PayPal USA, Canada v1.3.9 module to version v1.3.10.

 

I also modified the paypalusa/views/templates/hook/standard.tpl file as per Bug Tracker:
