QuickSearch for Attribute Item# does not yield any result.

Hi..

I'm having two problems getting our shop prepared for going online. The showstopper atm is:

When I search for an "attributed" Item# it does not find anything.. however, a search for the base Item# finds it.

example:

Black T; ProductID# 1020301; Item# 1020301

Attributes:
Size:S; ProductID#1020301; Item# 102030101
Size:M; ProductID#1020301; Item# 102030102
Size:L; ProductID#1020301; Item# 102030103
Size:XL; ProductID#1020301; Item# 102030104
-----8<------

Searching for 1020301 gets me to the "Black T".. but searching for 102030103 doesn't find the "Black T Size L"..

I've rebuild the Search index after importing the atttributes - no joy..

Is there anything I can do? Pointers are appreciated..
