Presta 1.6.1.5 very slow (sometimes)

Hello all,

 

I am trying to make a prestashop environment. After product import and such, everything works. Only sometimes the category pages are very slow in loading the page. In Chrome Developer tools and FireFox developer tools (network tab) it says the TTFB is very slow. 

More info on the site setup;

Multistore; enabled

Shared cart; enabled

Shared customers; enabled

three languages enabled; (NL, DE, EN)

All countries are enabled.

 

Cache; enabled; 

Minified JS

Minified CSS

 

Blocklayered enabled for each category (4 filter options with max 10 values per category)

 

How can I find out what the problem is?

TTFB is a server configuration problem. Slow server sometimes is a overload from too many requests at same time on server (very common on shared webhost space). The only way to avoid this, is to use own VPS or dedicated server, well configured.

Thanks for the reply.   I will check with my IT guys about the server problem.
