automate import process

Hi all,
I'd like to automate the import process. I've to "simulate" what CSV import process already does, updating my record directly in the prestashop database (usgin for example a php script in the machine's cron)

Do you know exactly which tables I have to upadate?

I need to know the name of the table containing information about:

backoffice=> catalog => product

(in the tabs: info, images, combination , customization, prices etc etc )

The tables are logically named. Most of the product data is in the tables starting with ps_product. The images are in ps_image. The attributes are in the tables starting with ps_attribute.
