kiwiacw
I found a solution to my problem ...not sure if will b eof help to the first poster on this thread.Because my shipping is not dependant on weight at all I worked out I could use that to my advantage.I have threee countries A, B & C.I set up a carrier for each zone called Carrier A, B & CTo each I assigned a weight range of 1-500kg (a big enough number that it wouldn't be a problem)I assigned each to their country zone.I selected shipping by weight. When I sell it now assigns the correct carrier to the country and charges accordinglySo problem solved.I would still however like to see shipping by zone as an option in future versions as this solution will not always apply if weight or price comes into the equation as well as zone

deborahjb
See this post I made on my zip-code work-around:http://www.prestashop.com/forums/viewthread/14003/ (Be sure to read the entire thread)This method is dependent on the Post Office's method of shipping in zones. I used a method that ties states and their zip codes to zones. Anyway, if you use this method, the shipping will ultimately be determined by the zip code. Hope this helps.
