Catalog Price Rules and Specific Prices integration

Hi guys,

My shop provides for each product a general price relative to all standard groups of customers and a specific price related to the wholesalers group. The problem is that when i set a catalog price rule (ex. 10% discount on each product of a specific category), only the general price is affected from discount and not the specific price for wholesalers.
Somewhere i read that those rules are not compatible. Is there a way to allow it? If not, what could be the best solution to avoid this problem?
