Is this 301 redirect code made correctly and placed on the right place of the .htaccess file?

Hello, (please see snapshot) Is this 301 redirect code made correctly and placed on the right place of the .htaccess file for https://www.highesthelp.com/es/module/smartblog/category is the old url and https://www.highesthelp.com/es/psychicblog.html is the new one?

I suggest you place your 301 redirect lines before following 404 error page redirection

#If rewrite mod isn't enabled
ErrorDocument 404 /dev16x/index.php?controller=404

But, please be noted that the .htaccess file be regenerated by PresatShop when something is changed, for example when you switch on off and on of SEO friendly URL. add a new languages,....

This is why I have read before that it should be placed outside of the prestashop message, because that part does not get deleted.... Is this true?

Redirect 301 https://www.shop.com/es/module/smartblog/category https://www.shop.com/es/psychicblog.html

 

...for...  https://www.shop.com/en/module/smartblog/category is the old url and https://www.shop.com/en/psychicblog.html is the new one

and

https://www.shop.com/es/module/smartblog/category is the old url and https://www.shop.com/es/psychicblog.html is the new one

the code itself is fine. but your redirecting destination URL seems not correct.

 

The following URL is incorrect, it does not exists.

https://www.shop.com/es/psychicblog.html

its a demo url, it is just to see that, if the url was correct, then the code placed where I indicated at the beginning of the post is right (both, the code and the place in the .htaccess file)?
