roroPrestashop
Hi everyone, All of a sudden I'm getting a 500 error when accessing AdminModules. I don't recall making any changes and the error reporting isn't giving me anything - it's the 500 error of the server itself. (which is a Windows server unfortunately) Any suggestions to how to check this out? Thanks Edited June 11, 2016 by roroPrestashop (see edit history)
shokinro
Have you tried to turn on DEV mode by setting _PS_MODE_DEV_ to true in file /config/defines.inc.php, so more detailed error message will be displayed when the error occurs. With detailed error message, you will get some clue what was the cause. Edited June 11, 2016 by shokinro (see edit history)
roroPrestashop
I did, but it didn't help becuase it was generated by the server somehow. BUT i solved it - PERMISSIONS! there was a problem with folder/file permissions on the modules folder and since I'm not used to working on a Windows IIS server, it took a while to understand. roroPrestashop
Maybe I don't understand how to do this, but I don't know how to mark this as SOLVED. I tried to follow some instructions but I don't have the options... strange
shokinro
you try in this way go to the first message of the topic (the first message you posted) on this topic and click edit then click "Use Full Editor" - you will be able to edit Subject of the topic then add "[Resolved]"
roroPrestashop
Oooohhh - on the first post - I thought on any of them. Thanks!
shokinro
Yes, you can only modify Subject on first message editing. (most people add [solved] at beginning of subject)
