JustHost Threatening To Suspend My Prestashop Account

Please help me I don't have much time left before they suspend it again. I dont know what to uninstall in admin or why I am using such high resourses. Also any reccommendation on a new reliable host would be welcomed. They want $149 a month to make me go dedicated. I have only had prestashop install for about a week and already I have this problem.

I don't know enough to tell you why this has happened, but I do know you aren't the first person to run into this issue with Just Host.

A possible alternative is http://www.vidahost.com/ - they are optimised for Prestashop, and offer friendly and helpful advice.

I haven't been with them long, but this is why I chose them for my Prestashop project. Best of luck with solving this problem.

I use Bluehost for all my sites, never had any issues related to CPU usage.

I use a shared host with a dedicated IP address (6.95 for hosting + 2.50 for dedicated address).

They also offer $50 coupon for google adwords, and $50 for yahoo.

I think that Just Host are trying it on with me to make me pay them $149 a month. They have not provided me with any facts or statistics they just played god by cancelling. Very bad service that is, not even a pre warning asking to lower resources just CLICK off. Thats where customer service is going these days, abuse of admin rights.

I had this same problem with a previous host, not justhost. They suspended my account twice then chucked me off the server. I have moved hosts twice since then and havent had any problems with either of them.

They couldnt give me any details as to why they suspended me, but after a bit of digging I found out that they were only a reseller making out they were a hosting company.

A year later the same company did exactly the same thing, but with a Zencart site.

I came to the conclusion that they had over populated the server and that they had to unload some accounts.

The weird thing about the situation was that I had 2 accounts with the reseller, both of which used exactly the same prestashop version, the second account didnt have any issues though.

If you are still looking for a new host ... I do Prestashop hosting with cPanel access on a dedicated server shared with several of my business clients at a professional hosting company with good support (after escaping from iWeb).

I use Scotserve/AlbaTrading hosting.

Its costing me £15 + VAT for a multi domain account, which basically gives me as much bandwidth as i want (wont say unlimited because theres no such thing), unlimited add-on/parked domains, but its limited to 2GB space.

The server is Prestashop specific, PHP 5.2.13.

Any problems I have I just email them or catch them in the chatroom at http://www.e-commerce-forum.co.uk, and it is sorted within 24 hours.

I have about 10 accounts running from my account (not all prestashop sites) getting over 2,000 visitors a week.

Justhost done the exact same to my account. They even deleted my site and added a message stating that I had been suspended.

It was apparently product.php that was causing my problems but their service was rubbish. I have now moved my site to uk2 and have had no problems at all.
Service is second to none and would recommend them to anyone. In fact my site is working quicker with no apparent downtime to note.

I have the same problem with Just Host. They suspended my account even I just login with their C-panel.

When I ask their customer support how do I avoid it happen again.

There are no answer.

Now I want my money back and move to other web hosting service provider.

Can I ask Carlmcse, justhost solve your problem yet, what's your current web hosting service provider.

Just had my account suspended also (http://www.otleyrunfancydress.co.uk), no idea who the host is as its on a reseller package.

Did the people that had accounts suspended get a back up of the site? Did you lose everything?

Panicing like crazy.

Once you know your cPanel password (https://www.otleyrunfancydress.co.uk:2083/) you can use the PhpMyAdmin to make a backup of your database.

Huge help, thank you so much. Just contacted the host company as the reseller I purchased the site+hosting from won't answer the phone. They sadly informed me that they are not the company that hosts my site
The search goes on.

Quick update. I found the correct hosting company (webbuzzhosting) and got the site back online. I was working on the RSS feed on my site last night and apparently it is the module that was causing the issue. They deleted the feed via the back end of the site and im now live again. We will see for how long.
