Warranty cosultation page

Hi,

 

I am just starting with PrestaShop. I don't have any experience.

 

I want to create a module where clients can check about his products' warranties. 

 

The problems are: 

 

- I need help (a link to a tutorial or something) about how to create a new page. I created a module that has a link to a .php page, but it isn't in MVC model.

- I don't know exactly how my sql query shall look like. Does PrestaShop's database has a column in Products table where warranty time is stored? And which is the name of the column that stores the date of the sale?
