Val974
Hello everybody, I've got a simple question which is, how can I remove the three little dots that appears beneath the category title on the category page? (see attached) I once found the solution, if I remember it was in the global.css, but the modification didn't stay more than one day, and then back to normal. Thanks for your help guys. Have a good day! Val
musicmaster
Usually this truncation is done in the template (*.tpl) files like {$product.name|truncate:33:'...'|escape:'htmlall':'UTF-8'}
Val974
Alright, so when I was modifying in the global.css it was useless. I try your method, I'll let you know. Thanks a lot!
Val974
Hello Everybody! So I tried to locate the .tpl file concerned, but I failed. Does anyone know where the modification got to be done? I am even hesitating between the default theme files and the Infinity Theme files. Thank you!
musicmaster
You might have a look at the source code to see whether the dots are in your case indeed a part of the title.
Val974
Hi MusicMaster, Thanks for your reply. I've been looking through the product.tpl, product-list.tpl, etc.. and I didn't manage to find the 3 little dots. BUT.. I've been looking through Firebug, and I was able to locate and simulate the removing of the 3 dots (Check attachment). I followed this access : https://hurricane-sunglasses.com/themes/infinity/cache/v_88_adfb5158661b8bbcd44175086f597604_all.css, and I removed the 3 little dots successfully. I guess it is the one I used last time but the modification didn't hold, so we'll see this time. Another last question, would you know how can I add some space between the H1 title (NOUVEAUTES) , and the category description (the text below)? (check 2nd attachment). Thanks in advance everybody! Val974
Hello Everybody, Thanks for your replies, it seems to be working great now! The 3 little dots haven't reappeared yet and I managed to get the desired space. By the way, does anyone knows how to change the font of H1 Title? Thanks Valentin
