Error found : CData section not finished http://ad in must_have_module_list.xml file.

Hello,

 

Earlier today everything was fine, we did not changed anything to our PrestaShop store, but all of a sudden we are getting this error message:

 

1. Error found : CData section not finished http://ad in must_have_module_list.xml file.
2. Error found : Premature end of data in tag img line 1 in must_have_module_list.xml file.
3. Error found : Premature end of data in tag module line 1 in must_have_module_list.xml file.
4. Error found : Premature end of data in tag modules line 1 in must_have_module_list.xml file.

 

anyone have a idea how to solve this? our PS version is 1.6.1.5

I think i have found it;

 

Our must_have_module_list.xml file was incomplete;

i have emtyed this file, it's automaticly filled back with data.

How do you fix this and what is the cause?

 

1. Error found : CData section not finished Allow the purchase of combinations of products wit in must_have_module_list.xml file.
2. Error found : Premature end of data in tag additional_description line 1 in must_have_module_list.xml file.
3. Error found : Premature end of data in tag module line 1 in must_have_module_list.xml file.
4. Error found : Premature end of data in tag modules line 1 in must_have_module_list.xml file.

Hi,

 

 

Make the file must_have_module_list.xml empty (you find it in /config/xml from the root directory).

It will be regenarated automatic, make shure you backup first, just in case .

 

This is the RSS feed used by prestashop (those ad's on the right side of the admin).

It seems it's loading not good, and get's corrupted.

usually in cases like that preferences > performance > clean shop cache helps,

it removes .xml files and downloads them again.

Thanks, emptying the xml seems to have worked on 1.7.4.2.
