Move arrows on homeslider

Hello

 

I have been trying to change the size of my homeslider via CSS and JS, that has worked perfectly, the issue im having is once i make it smaller, the arrows now disappear. 

 

I have tried to to change it on the CSS and changing the position to etc but nothing seems to move the buttons to the edge of the image? I can't even regain them, only thing i haven't tried is changing the image size via BO and see if its because its still scaling with the full image size 

 

If anyone would know please help
