Maggie Admin
Hi Gurus, After some testing with the site, I realised the products in shopping cart does not gets clear even though it has been days since the customer has logged in. I would like to avoid this and set a 30 min timer and remove customers shopping cart. Are the ways to do this? And what is the best way to achieve this ? Many thanks. Maggie Admin
Works now as I cleared the cache under Advanced Parameters > Performance Cheers
shokinro
I do not think clear server cache will clear shopping cart. abandoned shopping cart will not be deleted automatically unless you delete theme manually. shopping cart id is remembered in user's browser, so when user visits your store, the saved shopping cart will be loaded automatically. user can clear browser cache to start new shopping cart, but the old shopping cart still in your store database. Maggie Admin
I changed this settings "Lifetime of Front office cookies to 1" No effect until I cleared the server cache. Sorry my earlier post wasn't detail enough.
shokinro
oh, that is under Administration - Preferences tab, not Advanced Parameters - Performance tab.
