Site not running with Internal Server Error 500

Good day,

 

Have a site, which was working fine yesterday, today "Internal Server Error 500".

 

Also, do not have config files when I FTP to my site" config/config.inc.php" looks like a shortcut, and there is a index.php.

 

Thats all, which tells me it may be broken, so does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Hello,

 

You must have config files for the system. So, 

• Download your PS same version and upload your ftp
• Update settings.inc.php like _DB_NAME_ _DB_USER_ _DB_PASSWD_

  (if you have no settings.inc.php, share to us your PS version and then we will share to you settings.inc.php) Also if you have settings.inc.old.php , you can use this file.

• Finally, your site will be worked.

Do you have backup of your store?

If you have backup, it is also a good idea to restore the files from your latest backup.

(it is a good practice to backup your store regularly - most service provider has this service)

Indeed, use a backup to replace the missing files.

 

And if you haven't: install a new copy of the same Prestashop version on your local pc and upload from there missing files.

Thing is it is a cloud based solution? I dont know how to restore that?
