refloblu
Hello guys i have a crazy problem.. My prestashop based store has been cloned by someone, everytime i update my website the clone website updates automatically as well.. it is 100% identical to my website, except on the clone javascript is not working and is a bit more buggy I don't know how they are doing that, crazy thing is that for some queries it is ranking even better than my website! so is stealing my traffic. This "clone" is hosted on a cracked website.. already reported DMCA but the fact is they keep doing that over and over, is not the first time.. and i can't keep reporting DMCA everytime.. I also found out WHY they do this: they clone my website and rank on google using my content, then when the pages are well positioned on google they redirect everything to their chinese website (selling fake products related to my niche). has anybody ever experienced something like this? Dh42
There is a service that can help with that, we have module for it as well. You might want to read this blog post about it, https://dh42.com/blog/prestashop-content-protection/ and the module https://dh42.com/prestashop-modules/shield-square-module/
refloblu
i don't think a bot is the problem since updates are mirrored automatically at the same time..

El Patron
1) change ftp pwds 2) make sure you have up to date aniti-virus 3) download using ftp, good antivirus will detect, if not after download then run antivius against files I'm assuming you have been hacked (.js). you can look at your files also on remote looking for 'new' file date of /js/ folder(s). Then you can use module like this (well there are no others lol) that tells you when something changed. https://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/303132-module-prestavault-malware-trojan-virus-protection/
