Delay in website load time

Recommended Posts

Thanks to tomerg3 and his modules I have been able to...

Add URL redirect Module and fix duplicates
Fix Meta Duplicates
Add redirect to htaccess.

The only issue is I now notice that when i click on a link in my site there is a 3-4 seconds delay where nothing happens and then the page suddenly loads (as opposed to beginning to load as soon as i click on a link.

Can anyone confirm that my ht.access is correct - please?

This delay (which for me is shorter) is unlikely to be caused by an htaccess file.

It could be something with your host, but if you want to make sure it's not one of those modifications / modules, you can try to disable them one by one and see if there is a difference.
