Move from Cloud to external host

I got a backup from PrestaShop "Support" - with missing files and now they are charging 150 euro + tax for a new copy.

 

but is there any way at all tomove from cloud to external host with no problems?

 

after i got the backup i where missing logins, products, styling of the site, texts and much more, it didnt even help with a new clean shop and then upload the database and ftp files.

 

please if theres someone, who know what to do, i will be happy, since the PrestaShop support will not help unless i pay for there mistakes.

In cloud store you can go to: Advanced Parameters > DB Backup > and creat new database backup > now you can download database. Also cloud store allow you to ftp login and copy all important file to you local pc.

And if this wasnt tried i hadnt paid 150 euro to the support team and got cheated.

 

It is not possible to copy files from FTP, you dont get access to all files from ftp.

You don't need all files, if you have for example 1.6.0.14 version in cloud, you need download this version and switch the file from those downloaded from cloud.

That have been done and what i ended up with was missing products, users, my files and CMS pages was missing or wrong.

If you are missing data like products, users, cms page it means there is not everything correct in database, try upload new copy database.

Then we are back at the "fantastic" support i got from Prestashop. taking 150 Euros + tax for a database with errors.

 

i have just tried to take a copy from the ftp and the database, lets see if that works this time.

Well after a backup from the shop and from the prestashop support - both with errors and missing the files

great - i will not use this cms system again, i make a new shop and then i wont endorse Prestashop to any one.
