unchecking CCC for style sheets and using cdn

Hi,

 

My shop is built with Prestashop 1.5.6.2

 

1-In order to use cdn, Prestashop recommends to use CCC (Concatenation, Compression and Cache) for the following files :

- style sheet

- Javascript

- html

 

But, if I check CCC for style sheets, the Front Office display is incorrect..

 

Is there a way to use cdn for Images (and maybe for javascript), without checking CCC for style sheets ?

 

2-What would be your recommendation for a cdn hosting company ? (my site and main clients are located in France)

 

3- If my images migrate to cdn, what about their addresses ? Will the adresses be different ? Is there any risk of loss of previous image indexing and ranking ?

CCC and CDN are independent things, so yes, use one or both of them.

Thank you for your reply.

 

On the Prestashop admin page (Advanced parameters  > Performance > Media server) is written :

"Media servers (use only with CCC)"

That means that everyting has to be checked including : Use CCC for style sheets.

 

That is why I asked the question :

Is it possible to use cdn without checking CCC for style sheets ?

 

What do you think ?

Oh, alright. Both features probably depends in some way. Just follow the message - use only with CCC.
