Why do Prestashop removes ICC profil ?

Why do Prestashop removes ICC profil when generating images while almost of browsers are taking them (now) ?

Thanks for your reply. I export all my pictures with photoshop converting to sRGB, but without ICC included, Browsers keep the monitor proofing instead of sRGB. Anyway...

 

May I ask you also some info regarding the high density option in the pictures preferences. When I enable this option, standard pictures are still used with retina screen. Does this function works ?

I have just released a module that enabled you to use ImageMagick instead of GD: https://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/530451-free-module-imagemagick-support-for-prestashop

 

 

If photographers, designers, etc. are your audience (people with Adobe RGB ranged monitors), you should definitely check it out! It will allow you to include ICC profiles and provide higher quality images.

 

I haven't tested the high resolution option, but expect that it will work.
