Searching on author

Is there any way to make forum posts searchable by author?

 

I maintain a forum post of 57 pages and regularly people refer back to something that they wrote months ago. That is hard to be found at the moment. A search on the name of that person will only contain the results where I quoted his posts.

Well you can try by adding some form data as query strings in url, like in 

https://www.prestashop.com/forums/index.php?app=core&module=search&section=search&do=search&fromMainBar=1&search_app=forums%3Atopic%3A185401&search_author=musicmaster

&search_app=forums%3Atopic%3A185401 your topic id is 185401 and &search_author= change to username you want
