How product reductions are being calculated

Hello,

 

How 3 or 4 reductions from different reduction groups apply to a specific product if every reduction has a valid date and supposedly should be applied on that product?

 

For example. 

 

Initial price of a product : 100 Euro

 

- Reduction 15%  (percentage) of initial price for every product

- Reduction -10euro (amount) for a specific product

 

The price in the frontend should be 90 Euro or 85 Euro or both reductions should apply somehow?

 

What happens and how the calculation is being made?

you can define special price rules priority, so prestashop to generate price will use rule with highest priority.

prestashop uses only one price rule with highest priority, even if product can have other special prices.
