How to add a message to product.tpl that shows only in catalog mode?

Hi Guys,

I would like to add a message where the price would normally be when out of catalog mode.

I have my shop going into catalog mode at a certain time each day, and I would like to display the order opening times in the same place as the price normally is when orders are being taken.

I know it's to do with "if $PS_CATALOG_MODE " but I cannot get it to work for some reason.

 

Any help is highly appreciated.
