Loyalty program checkout

I use the loyalty program on one of my sites.
When i was checking out to see how it worked this text comes up: By checking out this shopping cart you can collect up to 5 loyalty points that can be converted into a voucher of £ 0.50^*.
^* Not available for Instant checkout order  <--------- what dose this mean?
