Translations not being saved

I've got the same issue as described here

However the fix doesn't work for me

I'm facing this issue for some time now and I really want it to be fixed

Normally I select a theme but I tried both, but none of them worked

please try to enable error reporting, then try to save translations. Do you see some notificaitons about errors?

what is your prestashop version (share exact number please). i remember that some releases of 1.6.x had a bug related to translations, so maybe you use affected version of ps.

anyway, case needs inspection, so lets do it ;-)

Got it finally fixed! thanks for suggesting to enable the error reporting

My max_input_vars was too low even though the phpcheck said it was 8000
