FloreG
Hello I am trying to remove 'best sellers' and 'new product' form my information column in the footer. This information column is assign to the "bloccms" module. So in Module>bloccms I already unchecked the best sell and new product as you can see in the image attached. I also disable these 2 elements to appear in the hook of the footer in Module>position>displayfooter and then I "specify the files for which you do not want the module to be displayed."(so selected best sales, suppliers and new product). But 'best sellers' and 'new product' are still appearing in my footer. Does anyone has a clue please to remove them ? thanks
vekia
if you disable the module (for test purposes) these block disappear? im asking, because, maybe your theme doesnt use this module to build links in this section? you're on default bootstrap theme? FloreG
Hi, which module? bloccms? yes it disappears. I am on JMS megamall template, not the bootstrap one. but there is still some element from bootstrap as a base.
vekia
can you attach blockcms.tpl file that is stored in your theme /modules/blockcms/ directory?
FloreG
I should be able to delete the lines I don't want in that blockcms.tpl, is that right? It's not possible to delete it form the BO finally?!
FloreG
Good, I have been able to find the blogcms.tpl and remove the lines I wanted to removed. thanks
vekia
it sounds like your theme does not allow to disable these links from back office, this is why it was necessary to remove them manually from .tpl file.

I look all over internet and in this forum but no information about to modify these things by the backend as was on the 1.6 version. Them delete also the Live Editor from the 1.7 and it doesn't exist anymore and I still don't understand why. Maybe we have to buy also this module. I begin to think to come back to the 1.6 version.
