Theme Upload

I just did an upload of a theme file onto my Prestashop which was 750Mb in size so I don't particularly want to do it again.  I got the file from template monster where it was free.  I want to experiment with a few different templates before I buy one.  The file on the site I got it from was password protected so I put all the files into a fresh archive that wasn't and uploaded it. It was very slow and took a couple of hours.  When it was finished I checked to see what had happened but I couldn't find the them.  Does anyone know what I did wrong?

the 750mb file have a lot of info. you must read the readme, but if you unzip, you get a folder with the theme, another with theme + all prestashop install, another with sample data, etc

Because I haven't had any useful replies I thought I would try another upload and watch very carefully what happened when the upload finished.  This time I uploaded the theme zip file from the theme provider.  It took 2 hours to upload and when it had finished it went straight to the log in screen which had timed out.  Now these theme zip files must be on the server somewhere?  How do I find them?  I am on Arvixe and having great trouble getting anywhere..

no, the theme only must be 8mb

 

if the file is more bigger, the installation method must be another. you must check the readme of the theme
