(SOLVED)How can customers to register in a group

I create a group of customers, called Friends who can buy with discount. But how can they register in this group?

When customers register, they are put in the Default customer group. You have to verify that they are in fact friends, then go to the Customers tab and manually edit the customer and tick "Friends". Then they will get the discount. Otherwise, every customer could claim that they are a friend and get the discount.
